About the game
AION 2 is the official sequel to NC's long-running MMORPG AION. Built on Unreal Engine 5, it returns to the conflict between the Elyos and Asmodians while making flight a central part of exploration and combat.
NC describes the game as a next-generation MMORPG with manual combat, large-scale PvE and PvP, detailed character customization and a world designed around vertical movement. The global PC edition is being prepared specifically for players outside the original Korea and Taiwan launch regions.
Global PC version
The global edition is PC-only and will be distributed through Steam and NC's PURPLE platform. NC has announced regional servers for North America, South America, Europe and Japan, with ten supported languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
The full free-to-play global PC launch is scheduled for October 5, 2026. Owners of a Founder's Pack can enter through Advanced Access on September 30, five days earlier.
AION 2 originally launched in Korea and Taiwan on November 19, 2025.
