About the game
Path of Exile 2 is a dark fantasy action RPG from Grinding Gear Games. It features deep character building, skill gems, co-op play and a large endgame set in the world of Wraeclast.
The game is already available in Early Access. That initial release began on December 6, 2024 across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Full 1.0 release
At gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, Grinding Gear Games confirmed that Path of Exile 2 Full 1.0 Release will arrive on December 11, 2026.
The announcement also states that the game will become free-to-play at full launch.
