About the game
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open-world action RPG from CD PROJEKT RED, originally released on May 19, 2015.
Players control Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer searching for Ciri across the war-torn Northern Kingdoms. The game later received the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions and a major next-gen update in 2022.
Remastered upgrade
During gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, CD PROJEKT RED revealed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered.
The presentation confirms that the Remastered version will be delivered as a free upgrade on September 29, 2026.
The announcement card shows support for PC storefronts, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
