ANANTA will launch on January 15, 2027. The date appeared at the end of the game's new presentation during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, turning what had circulated earlier in the day as a leak into an on-stage release announcement.
A fresh look at Nova City
The presentation included new footage of ANANTA's large urban environment. The game once again leaned into the freedom of moving through a busy modern city, with street-level exploration, vehicles and large action sequences all appearing in the reel.
One sequence showed a character riding through a dense neighborhood on a motorcycle, while another pushed the vehicle action much further with a cinematic mid-air moment.
ANANTA is officially described as a free-to-play urban open-world RPG. Players will control a variety of characters and explore multiple districts of Nova City while dealing with both everyday activities and more unusual threats.
