Petit Planet launches worldwide on December 4, 2026. HoYoverse revealed the date in a new Release Date Reveal Trailer on the game's official YouTube channel, and the official website now greets visitors with "Coming December 4".
At gamescom 2026 in August, the studio had only shared a Winter 2026 window. Now there is an exact date, and launch is just over a month away.

The nearly three-minute video, in the words of its description, invites players to watch their very own planet grow under a sky full of stars. The thumbnail shows the cast sharing a picnic under the words "See You at Launch on December 4".
Platforms
The official website currently lists three storefronts:
- App Store — pre-order;
- Google Play — pre-registration;
- Epic Games Store — the PC version.
HoYoverse's gamescom 2026 video also showed a Windows logo. No console versions have been announced.
Pre-registration rewards
Everyone who pre-registers (including previous pre-registrations) receives a Bestie Star-Light. Judging by the checkmarks on the site, all global milestones have already been reached, so players will get the full set at launch:

About the game
Petit Planet is HoYoverse's first cozy space life sim. Players become a Planet Tender, building up their own little planet, growing plants, fishing, cooking, decorating, meeting unusual neighbours and travelling across the Starsea. The game will be free-to-play and cross-platform.
