HoYoverse has revealed Nodus Fall, a new co-op action game that looks very different from Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and the studio's other major releases.
The world premiere debuted during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026.
What the first trailer shows
Nodus Fall is set in a fantasy world shaped by chaos and ancient hatred. Players take the role of a Weaver and use divine power to fight mythical beasts.
The reveal focuses heavily on cooperative combat. Several scenes show multiple characters attacking gigantic creatures together, making large monster encounters one of the clearest ideas behind the project.

The other immediate surprise is the art direction. HoYoverse has moved away from its familiar anime presentation toward a darker and more realistic fantasy aesthetic.

No release date yet
The announcement did not include a release date or release window, and platforms have not been formally announced either.
For now, Nodus Fall is one to watch rather than one to put on an exact release calendar. We have added it to the Game-M database with a TBA release status.
