Maze of Frost and Foresight is one of the puzzle modes in the Great Expeditionist Challenge event in Genshin Impact 7.0. Your goal is to build the route with Prime Ice Constructs and then help Jack Frost reach the destination during the Action Phase.
The three stages are:
- Bounce and Bound Over Obstacles
- Move at the Perfect Moment
- On Board the Cube Express

1. Bounce and Bound Over Obstacles

For the first puzzle, place the three Prime Ice Launchpads so Jack Frost can bounce through the lower route and reach the finish.
Use this arrangement:
- one launchpad on the upper-left platform;
- two launchpads on the lower path, in the middle and right positions.
After all constructs are placed, start the Action Phase. Jack Frost should drop onto the launchpads and bounce across the lower section to the destination.
2. Move at the Perfect Moment

This is the easiest stage to misunderstand because some of the platforms holding the ice blocks are not fixed.
Set the constructs approximately as shown below:
- put the launchpad on the upper-middle ledge;
- place the ice cubes on the far-left moving platform and on the required lower-track slots.
Important: move the blocks up and down
The key mechanic is the vertical movement of the platforms carrying the Prime Ice cubes.
When Jack Frost reaches the left side, lower the left moving platform so he can ride the route down safely. Later, when he reaches the lower moving section, raise the platform again to bring him back up to the correct level.
If Jack Frost gets stuck or walks into the wrong level, the usual problem is not the initial block placement — it is that one of these moving platforms was left at the wrong height.
3. On Board the Cube Express

For the third puzzle:
- place one Prime Ice cube on the upper-left slot;
- place the launchpad on the upper moving platform;
- place the second cube on the lower moving platform.
Use the final arrangement shown here:
During the Action Phase, Jack Frost moves through the lower section, uses the moving platforms to climb back toward the upper route, and then uses the launchpad to reach the goal.
