About the game
Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG from HoYoverse. The player takes the role of the Traveler, separated from their sibling after arriving in the fantasy world of Teyvat, and journeys through its nations while uncovering the larger story behind the Archons, the Fatui, the Abyss, and the world's hidden history.
Exploration and combat are built around seven elements and the reactions created by combining them. Players form parties of characters with different weapons, roles, and elemental abilities, then use those teams for story quests, world exploration, bosses, domains, events, and the game's recurring challenge modes.
Genshin Impact launched globally on September 28, 2020 and continues as a live-service game with major version updates. It is currently supported on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android.
