Aniimo will launch on September 16, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The date is confirmed by both the official PlayStation and Xbox store pages, which describe the base game as free-to-play at launch.

The announcement was highlighted around gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, putting a firm date on Pawprint Studio's open-world creature-collecting RPG.

What is confirmed

Aniimo is a free-to-play open-world action RPG built around catching, evolving and battling with creatures called Aniimo. The official website lists PS5, Xbox, Steam, Epic Games Store, App Store and Google Play, confirming that mobile versions are also part of the global release plan.

The console storefronts give the launch time as September 16 at 10:00 UTC+8. Xbox also lists support for PC alongside Xbox Series X|S.

What about iOS and Android?

There is conflicting information around the mobile date. The App-Time report shared during gamescom states that iOS and Android follow later, on September 23, but we could not confirm that date from a first-party Pawprint source. Apple's current App Store listing instead shows “Expected Sep 30, 2026”, while Google Play does not expose an exact launch date in its public listing.

Because of that discrepancy, Game-M currently treats September 16 as confirmed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, while the exact mobile launch date remains pending first-party confirmation.

Pre-orders and pre-registration

Aniimo is free-to-play, but PlayStation and Xbox are offering paid pre-order packs with in-game items. The official Aniimo website also keeps global pre-registration open across PC, consoles and mobile.
