AION 2 has locked in its global PC launch date. The MMORPG will open to all players as a free-to-play release on October 5, 2026, while Founder's Pack owners can enter through Advanced Access on September 30.
The date was shown during gamescom Opening Night Live with the message “Take Flight October 5th” alongside the Steam and PURPLE logos.
This is the global PC release
AION 2 is not technically a brand-new game worldwide. NC launched it first in Korea and Taiwan on November 19, 2025. The October release is the broader PC expansion covering North America, South America, Europe and Japan.
For this version NC has made an important platform decision: the global build is PC-only, distributed through Steam and PURPLE. The company has also confirmed ten supported languages, including Russian.
Five days of Advanced Access
The official global site and Steam page offer three Founder's Packs. Each includes five-day Advanced Access, putting the paid early start on September 30 before the full free-to-play opening on October 5.
Steam currently lists the title as an Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG with faction warfare, aerial combat, open-world exploration and more than 200 dungeons across multiple formats.
NVIDIA also says the Western PC version will support DLSS 4.5 when Advanced Access begins.
